HAPPY DAYS

HAPPY DAYS est une création autour de la culture VPOP qui interroge la performance dans l’espace publique et sa musicalité.  

Entrant dans un espace de musiques acidulées énergétiques et positive, « Happy days » convoque, joue, dialogue, déplace en utilisant la lumière.  

Parfois sous forme de solo ou en groupe, des adolescents sous la direction du chorégraphe Quan Bui Ngoc et de la metteuse en scène Sarah Trouche investissent le domaine de Nodris en Nouvelle Aquitaine.  

En quelques seconde le happening commence ; figures humaines, créatures, corps musicaux ou simples vibrations. Happy Days mêlent texte, lumière, danse et musique dans la culture jeune et populaire.

Dans cet acte 1 en France, en Nouvelle Aquitaine, à travers plusieurs ateliers d’écriture, de danse et de performance, Happy days rassemble 20 jeunes adolescents de la communauté des communes Médoc Coeur de presqu’ile.  

Ateliers ouverts à tous, la création de ces happenings reprendra les codes visuels de la culture VPOP ; néons couleurs vives entre autres avec une scénographie du Collectif Scale. 

Un moment de restitution sera réalisé à la fin de la semaine de résidence dans le cadre du festival Perform avec un ultime happening VPOP dans l’espace publique du Domaine de Nodris . 

Dans un acte 2, Happy Days se poursuivra avec des adolescents vietnamiens lors de happening dans l’espace public à Ho chi Ming dans le cadre de la Villa Saigon avec l’institut Français du Vietnam.  

HAPPY DAYS is a creation around the VPOP culture which questions the performance in the public space and its musicality.  

Entering a space of acid, energetic, and positive music, "Happy Days" summons, plays, dialogues, and moves, using light.  

Sometimes in the form of solos or in groups, teenagers under the direction of choreographer Quan Bui Ngoc and director Sarah Trouche take over the domain of Nodris in New Aquitaine.  

In a few seconds, the happening begins; human figures, creatures, musical bodies, or simple vibrations. Happy Days mixes text, light, dance and music in the youth and popular culture.

In this first act in France, in New Aquitaine, through several writing, dance and performance workshops, Happy Days gathers 20 young teenagers from the community of communes Médoc Coeur de presqu'île.  

The workshops are open to all, and the creation of these happenings will play with the visual codes of the VPOP culture; bright neon colours among others; with a scenography by Collectif Scale. 

A moment of restitution will be created at the end of the week of residency within the framework of the Perform festival with an ultimate VPOP happening in the public space of the Domain of Nodris. 

In a second act, Happy Days will continue with Vietnamese teenagers during a happening in the public space in Ho Chi Minh City within the framework of the Villa Saigon with the French Institute of Vietnam.
