Winter Story in the Wild Jungle initie des actions de création artistique dans des territoires éloignés des lieux d’apprentissage de l’art ou de ses lieux de diffusion. A la demande d’associations locales au Bénin et au Kazakhstan, la compagnie a réalisé des ateliers de formation professionnelle avec de jeunes artistes. Interrogeant ainsi la diversité des pratiques artistiques contemporaines, elle apporte une alternative à l’absence d’écoles d’art à proximité de ces lieux. En France, l’éducation artistique dispensée par la compagnie se tourne vers les enfants en difficulté, via des établissements scolaires en zone d’éducation prioritaire et des centres de formation pour personnes handicapées. Le corps étant à la fois surface, support et expression visible de la psyché, il s’agit d’encourager le développement personnel de l’enfant, son potentiel d’expression à travers des ateliers de danse et de pratique artistique adaptés à ses difficultés.
Winter Story in the Wild Jungle initiates actions of artistic creation in territories far away from the places where art is learned or places where it is disseminated. At the request of local associations in Benin and Kazakhstan, the company has carried out professional training workshops with young artists. Thus, questioning the diversity of contemporary artistic practices, it brings an alternative to the absence of art schools near these places. In France, the artistic education provided by the company focuses on children in situations of hardship, via schools in priority education zones and training centres for people living with disabilities. The body being at once surface, support and visible expression of the psyche, the aim is to encourage the personal development of the child, their potential for expression through dance workshops and artistic practice adapted to their difficulties.
